Anyone having trouble bidding at Heritage coin website?

Anyone else having trouble bidding at Heritage coin website?.  I get to the screen
where I enter the bid and hit enter and it attempts to go to the next screen
but just sits there and can't seem to make the connection.  Tried it on two
different ISP's (work and home) and get same result so I think the problem is at
their end.

The Heritage site was down for maintenance yesterday afternoon and
evening.

Apparently Heritage is a coin bidding site (havn't been there yet)
which brings me to my next question...are there other sites where we
can bid on auctioned coins? Besides ebay.
And any opinion on the sites?
Thanks.

Yahoo auctions and Teletrade come to mind.

http://auctions.shopping.yahoo.com/

http://www.teletrade.com/coins/

It has been a long time since I used Yahoo and I have never used
Teletrade or Heritage Auctions. I have bought from Heritage on Ebay,
though, with no problems.

I think these are the same guys I emailed a question to about an ebay item
several weeks ago, and never received a reply.

If you are talking about Heritage, I've had the same experience with them.
Couldn't navigate my way through their maze, and when I asked a question, no
reply.

Tom

The website is working OK now.

I'll give them credit for ease of use in
bidding at their web site.  Easy to use
and understand (when it is working right
of course).

I've never used either yahoo of teletrade either, but I have won a few
coins from Heritage in the last few months.  I was having some trouble
getting to their site a couple of days ago but it seems to have
cleared up.  I haven't tried bidding on anything in the last couple of
weeks though.

I won one coin from Heritage on ebay right after they started using
ebay 4-5 years ago.  I got a good deal too.  It was an ANACS AU-55
1909-S VDB for the opening bid of $525.  I think the lack of other
bids may have had something to do with them neglecting to put the
initials "VDB" in the auction title.  ;)  It was a good deal back then
but looks like a great deal now.  That coin sure has shot up in the
last 2-3 years.
