**Investment grade ruby, originally purchaed in Bangkok, Thailand by me.
Wholesale Appraisal , which is *much* less than retail (by a US
firm--had it appraised last year): "One (1) loose faceted cushion cut
ruby. The ruby measures 6.07mm x 5.67mm x 3.74mm and weighs 1.13 carats.
The ruby displays a very good color performance with a slight blue
modifying hue. The saturation is stong and the tone is dark to very
dark. The ruby is lightly included. $5420.00". The inclusions are not
visible to the *** eye and only become apparant with 10-16 power
magnification. Sell for $4000.00
