I've got a bunch, worth anything? or should I just put them on the
railroad tracks?

Depends on their condition.  Rusty, corroded, well worn examples
are probably not railroad track candidates but ya' might as
well spend 'em.  Nice, clean XF's and better have some value.
BU's won't pay for your Hawaiian vacation but are definitely
collectors' coins.

But, my suggestion for -all- minimal value but unusual coins is
to put 'em out in a bowl at your next garage sale with a sign
that says 'your choice, 15 cents!'  You'll be surprised how
many dateless Buffalo nickels and non-descript wheaties you
can sell - not to mention your foreign pocket change.

Cheers,

THAT is a great idea.
