An elder relative passed away last year, we found the following coin
in her belongings:

1.5  inches in diameter
"silver" in color and/or make up.
weights about an ouce
on the face, the words around the
     perimeter say  "continental currency 1776"
and a design in the middle.
on the back side, there are  13 inter-links double-circles (colonies?)
with the words in the middle, "we are one"

Thanks,

T.R.

If the obverse has the word Fugio and Mind your business in the inner
circle and if on the reverse the words American Congress appear around the
circle with the words we are one then it would be be a Pattern Continental
$1 or a replica thereof.  The majority were struck in pewter with a couple
of silver and brass ones.  If real these are VERY valuable.  If you
suspect you have a geniune piece it would behoove you to have it
authenticated by a third party grading service.
