1943 silver penny

I looked around in old posts from this group, and I only found one thred
about this, it wasn't very informative. Bascially a have the above penny,
its looks original, not altered in any way. How rare are these? Do they have
any kind of value to them?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Alex

In 1943, the US made the Lincoln cent out of zinc-coated steel to save
copper which was needed for the war effort.

They are certainly not rare and not particularly valuable. You are
looking at a few cents for one in beat up circulated condition (lots of
wear) to maybe $40 for one in a very high uncirculated (looks like it
was just minted) grade.
