In 1943, the US made the Lincoln cent out of zinc-coated steel to save
copper which was needed for the war effort.
They are certainly not rare and not particularly valuable. You are
looking at a few cents for one in beat up circulated condition (lots of
wear) to maybe $40 for one in a very high uncirculated (looks like it
was just minted) grade.
