1928 Belgie 50 centimes coin -- Anyone familiar?

Hi everyone. I know nothing about coin collecting, so I would appreciate
some help. I just found a Belgium coin in a canister of loose change I had
been accumulating. The front says 'Belgie' and has a picture of what appears
to be some sort of warrior with a sword on his side. The back says 'Goed
Voor' across the top, that weird ambulance emblem (don't know what it is
called), '50 Cen' written across the middle, and the year '1928' written
across the bottom. Anyone have a clue as to worth/origin/history? Thanks a
lot.

You have a Belgium 50 centimes with Flemish legends.  KM#88. Value, $.20 to
$12.00 depending on condition.  Of the 10 million minted, many have a date
of 1928/3.
