'Clone Brews,' ' Beer Hunted' and the NYCHG

The January meeting of the New York City Homebrewers Guild will take
place on Tuesday, January 16th at 7:30pm at Brewskis, located on
Seventh Street between 2nd and 3rd avenues.

Returning as our guest speakers are Tess and Mark Szamatulski, authors
of the recipe book, Clone Brews.  The Szamatulskis will speak about
their new recipe book, Beer Captured.  A signing of these books will
follow the discussion.

Bring a friend.  Bring your homebrew.  New members are always welcome.

The heading of this thread is incorrect.  The name of the sequel book
is 'Beer Captured.'

Sorry.

That's it!  I've had it!  I'm killing everyone on the entire world wide
web!  Now if everyone would get together in a neat and orderly line,
I'd like to get started.

'Beer Captured' won't have any American beer recipes in it.  If I'm not
mistaken, it'll consist of Belgian, German, and British beer clone
recipes

Hey now,
I don't know about all this bagging on Sam Adams...their bottles are nice &
sturdy, and the labels come off real easy, so when I'm brewing beer as gifts,
it doesn't put a dent in my own bottle supply...

I heard that. Saranac isn't bad for this either. In fact, looks like the
same sort o' bottle.

I'm sorry, Phil, but you have to work harder than that to top the
fearsome statement someone made a few years ago on alt.religion.asatru:
"Now please excuse me while I crush your balls over the Internet".
(I had no idea that technology had advanced so far as to include a
testicle-crushing protocol...)

Can't we all just get along?!? ;-7

Gods, man, I do have a bad back, and it's a major PITA to find parking
for the Clydesdale wagon on 7th St. Will 3 bottles do?
