Does anyone know the advantages/disadvantages (from a technical
standpoint) of using each of these materials in a 10 gallon cooler for
the sparge manifold? (ie, durability, cleanliness, off flavors, etc)
I have used copper in a jockey box set up, but noticed that if the beer
is left in the tubing for any length of time (30 mins), I notice a
metallic/ bitter flavor in my beer. ?!?
It's for this that I'm concerned about using "copper" in the
aforementioned setup. Any advice would be appreciated...
