This is called a jockey box. Yes if you get the right size tubing, you should be
able to just clamp it into the cut tap line. My _guess_ is you'll need a
coil of copper pipe 5-10ft long, 1/4" OD.

Note you won't get the cold aging advantages of a keg in a fridge.

Papazian mentions the possibility of chilling the beer as it flows from
the keg and passes through an ice-box.  Has anyone done this?  Does
anyone have ideas about the design?  I gather the out line (from the keg)
would have to fit into a copper tube for the chilling, and then re-attach
to the tap part of the line.

This may be a simple question to answer, but I don't have a keg system
yet (but want one soon, and can't get an extra fridge), so I can't even
look at the lines;  could I just cut the ouline and clamp it to the tubing?

Thanks, Stephen
