Aerotech Delay Liner Replacement Program

Aerotech Delay Liner Replacement Program

Post by Steve Bloo » Fri, 28 May 1999 04:00:00

Howdy Everybody,   This may be old news but I don't recall seeing anything
about it here on this forum.  Aerotech has obtained new delay liners for the
38mm motors.  As you recall, we had quite a thread going there for a while
about the possibility of failures because of the large groove in the "red"
liners.  Well, seems as though Aerotech is interested in us and has acted.

If you have any 38mm reload packages with the old red delay liners, contact
Aerotech here:

and they will ship replacements.  Make sure that "RE: RED INSULATORS" is
your subject header.

I don't work for them and this is not an official Aerotech announcement.
I'm just telling Ya'll cause yer my friends.

AT sent out a letter saying they would replace the 38mm liners, then another
letter saying the 29mm liners are bad, too.  Now I'm told they have sent out
a notice that they will NOT replace the 29mm liners.  What gives?

All Ed of AT mentioned at NSL were the red liners for the 38mm motors. He
swapped many of them.

I sent Aerotech an email last week because 7 of my reloads had the red
insulators and I received 7 white insulators from them yesterday in the mail.
Also included was an instruction sheet telling you to destroy all the red
insulators and not to use them.
