Hey Gang,
Anyone have trouble having AFT contact them for a newal this
year? Im the mid south area, in Memphis Tn. Last year was my first year to have
to obtain a leup ( 2-99 02-2000)  this year I sent my monies in.....and yep
they cashed my check. It was cashed the  5th of Jan 2000 and for some reason I
haven't recieved any calls to set-up an interview appointment like when I first
applied.
Humm, now that I think about it I should call the agent that left
her card with me .....you  know the one I wash at lease 3-4 times. That should
get me closer to somewhere by starting there.

Well, I've had my LEUP with storage for about three years now and I haven't had any
problems with them getting in touch with me. Most of the agents I've talked with
generally put it at the back of the list and really don't want to deal with it
considering there are bigger threats and problems they generally have to deal with.
If you're really curious though you should use the number on the card that the
agent did leave with you.

Well Bob, I don't know how they do things in Northern Illinois but I'm beginning to
wonder.

1) the renewal process seems to be administrative, no interview or anything
is done.

2) it was my understanding that when they increased the fees from $20 to
$100 for the initial period, they also extended the term from 1 to 3 years.
Tenewals always were 3 years. So if you got yours in Feb 1999 it should be
good until Feb 2002. Did you pay $20 or $100 the first time. Check the
expiration date on your license. Did you get a renewal notice?

Card? What card? If she had left a piece of her mind, she'd have been brain
dead when she left :-(
