this kit is mint / new.

What happens when you cross a pig with a lawyer?
Nothing. There are some things a pig won't do.

As promised.

You can try to teach a pig to sing, but all you do is waste your time
and annoy the pig.

In light of the tone of recent exchanges on RMR, the first paragraph of this
most recent auction post seems to indicate this was posted as some form of
punishment over the newsgroup readers as a whole. Am I correct in this
conclusion?

Long ago, a man was sentenced to death by the king. The man begged for mercy,
and promised the king that if he were spared, he would teach the king's
favorite horse to sing. The king, skeptical but impressed by the man's
sincerity, agreed to give the man one year to accomplish his goal. If he
succeeded, the man would be spared.

That night, the man was asked why he promised such a foolish thing. His reply
was:

"I have gained a year of life I would not otherwise have, and much can happen
in a year. I may die naturally. The king may die. A revolution or a war may
force change. A year might soften the king's heart towards me, that I might
live.

And who can tell? The horse may learn to sing."

Amazing that someone who represents himself as a lawyer would be so foolish
as to fraudulently claim someone else is responsible for a commercial auction
posting on a non-commercial newsgroup... why, that's almost libel. *gasp*

I have McLaughlin filtered from my e-mail and newsgroup reading, so I
only see what you or others quote from him, but it appears he's posting
additional ads for every time someone posts one of their protests, and
attributing the new ad to the protest poster.

Certainly sounds as if he's still more interested in pissing people off
than in selling his rocket stuff.

Yes that is in essence what is happening but not for every person or
post, but 2-3 so far but it does not keep the rmr troll/anon's from
making hay out of it.

This is why it is a bet.  We both think/hope we will win.
