Fat Boy Nose Cone Drawing?

Post by Norman Dziedzi » Sun, 25 Apr 1999 04:00:00

Does anyone have a scale drawing of a Fat Boy nose cone in DXF or
Autocad DWG format?

I'm looking to do an upscale version.

thanks

Don't have a dwg, but it's elliptical. Length is 1.5x the dia.

Is it an ellipse or parabola?   Is it the stock  Estes BT-80 nose
cone?  I've never looked at one close enough to know.  I'd be glad to
draw one up and post it with a bit more information.  Scotglas sells
an upscaled BT-80 for really big upscaled Mosquitos, etc.

Dave Ross of Calgary, Alberta has built an 8.5" Fat Boy.  It can be

Thanks Andy,  That's all I needed.  It didn't look quite like a
parabola and I wasn't that sure how to go about measuring the nose
cone off the stock fat boy I have.

Thanks again
