LOC Magnum building tips

I just purchased a LOC Magnum and would like to hear some tips and hints
from others who have built and flown the beast (sucessfully and
unsucessfully). Thanks.

LOC Magnum building tips

I built mine pretty much stock, and it worked just fine on its maiden
voyage except for one thing:  GET RID OF THE BUNGEE CORD!  Get some tubular
nylon.

It is a great kit.  To see a couple of pictures of a couple of different
Magnums in flight, check out www.ntr.net/~cdutley/krapixlist.htm.  The
first two pictures are LOC Magnums, and both of them had the shock cords
break after an otherwise perfect flight.

Make the 29 mm tubes longer and use a third centering ring.
