I make decals for kits that don't have 'em with my laser printer. Go to a
art/drafting supply store and buy dry transfer film. (Transparent plastic with
sticky backing.) Make a design in Corel or Powerpoint or any package that lets you
work with fonts and dingbats. Print out test designs on plain paper, cut 'em out,
and "test fit" them on the rocket. When you've got a design that's nice, print in
out on the dry transfer film.
Since the stuff is expensive, I fill up the unused parts of the page with generic
stuff, like CP markers and "Stefan Jones ~ Tripoli #696".
