Posting MPG on ABMR?

Can one of you advise on how to "chop-up" an MPG vid to post on ABMR.  I
built a vid system that worked great using the Intel Digital Movie Creator
and recorded an on-board of my Amraam 4 using an I284.  Way too much fun
than should be allowed :)  The system kicks butt, especially for a total
investment of $55.00.

I'd like to share it with the rest of you, so any input would be great.
I'll be uploading the file to our website and I'll pass on the URL when it's
done.

You're using Outlook Express, so it will do it for you automatically.
Go into Tools, Accounts, select the News tab and select your news
server, then choose Properties, Advanced.  Select the "break apart
messages larger than xxx KB" checkbox, setting 'xxx' to the size
of the chunks you want.  The larger, the better (and the fewer chunks
readers will have to deal with) - so use the largest size your news
server will permit.  Try 500KB, if no luck reduce by 100KB at a time
until your PC/news server can handle it.

All you need to do is attach the file to your message, OE will handle
breaking it into multiple segments for you (including the subject hdr).

There's also a program called Master Splitter available from Tucows that allows you to split any
type of video file into segments of a size you predetermine, and then later reassemble it back to a
whole.
