LOC Magnum Question

LOC Magnum Question

Hello all;

I am putting the finishing touches on a LOC Magnum and was wondering
something.  If I plan to launch on the central 54mm motor only do I need to
plug the 29mm motor tubes?  I thought I had read somewhere to plug the tubes
but not sure if I was delusional.

Thanks,

Yes, plug the tubes with spent motors. Keeps the tubes from getting fried.

You don't need to plug the tubes for the flight to be successful but the
outboard tubes will get toasted by the fireball from the main motor. I flew
mine on a K250 and the outboard tubes were *gone*, only holes in the rear
CR.

That's what I figured might happen.  I was thinking I needed to stuff some
old motors in there just to be cautious.

Thank you and Ed for the help.
