I scanned in the static and liftoff photo of my buzzbomb flying on
an Aerotech E-18.  The direct links are:

Frank,
Thanks for the post on the V1 and, especially, the pictures.
That is really cool!  Well worth the look-see.

Frank,
Really cool model. :-)  You must tell more (please) as I was
planning to build one as no one I had heard of had made one work. How
did you get it to fly straight with the thrust line one side of the
CG.?  I'm guessing it returned on a parashute so have you plans to make
it glide return.?  Maybe R/C.?

Really cool again.  Recommended viewing.!!  Thanks for advancing the
hobby.  :-)

                                Cheers,
                                        Mac

Frank...

Nice pictures!

Does that thig glide at all?  The wing loading must be huge.

Not at this time.  Maybe in the future, I'll RC it, after the X-15 and Bomarc
I'm working on.  It was really my good friend, Larry Street, who made the
Vacu-formed body and jet intake, that got me going.  I loaned him my V-missiles
of the third reich book, and he copied the drawings.  He showed up here in Portland
at work on a business trip with the parts, and asked me if I could get it to fly.
I became obsessed, and the result worked.  The total empty weight was 10 oz,
but needed 8 oz of nose weight, which you would have to dump for glide recovery
without guidance.  The wing loading would be about 24 oz./sq foot without weight,
which is around what most .40 size low wing RC planes are.
