The weather up here has been and we have not been able to launch the big
bertha that we built 3 weeks ago. I just ordered a Fat Boy and an Alpha, how
do these two rockets rate. Maybe I will just get a bunch built up and one
day this spring the kids and I can make a weekend out of it.

Both are good fliers. I like the Fat Boy for it's slow, easy to see
boost. C6-3 is a perfect motor for it.

Fat Boys go real nice on a F72.
Probably even a G80.
and the Bertha getsa screamin' on the D21.
(Nylon chutes are nice also, with extra long shock cord)

Both fun rockets, my son is finishing an Alpha right now.  I'm going
to have him work up from A to B then see about a C.  It will probably
zip up there pretty well.  If there is some wind/clouds it could be a
"fire and forget" flight (someone here described them that way, I'd
credit the quote if I could remember).  I'd make sure to have a big
field and multiple eyes on it :{)

Now that is a most excellent idea!
