Not to be a pessimist, but this is truly sad.  While the US fights amongst
it's leaders on the NASA budget and problems, and our glorious current
representatives***the future of America's future elite scientists by
siding with the BATFE, others take the lead.

(Sarcasm on)

Hey why not, we buy most all our electronics from overseas and it's just
fine.  Why not just let the rest of the world take over the technology
sector while we spend billions of dollars enforcing our own morals on the
rest of the world being the self designated world police sticking our noses
in other peoples business and spending all our tax dollars.

Space was really the last bastion of American Pride, and it's going right
down the shitter.

It's truly a sad state our country is in right now.

Since we can absolutely expect the madness to continue, I suggest you
get on the bandwagon to exporting all our valuabvle jobs overseas so at
least you make a buck off congresses stupidity.
