Mod forward or aft in AT motor delay?

Mod forward or aft in AT motor delay?

I promise not to do it but if I did drill a hole to modify the delay
in an AT motor does the drilled hole go towards the ejection charge or
towards the propellant?

Thank you.

If you promise not to do it, then I'll tell you it doesn't matter which side
you drill. What matters is the thickness of the material, which is the same
either way.
