It's fixed. You may still not like it (style wise), but it works.

I tried it last week and nothing worked. I could not even get the catalog.

SO -  I let them know about it. They fixed it. No more lock-ups on IE for me. I can go
forward, backward, get the PDFs, etc.

If you find a bad link, call them and let them know. They will fix it.

Yep, it works allright, but it is the most horrible and unuserfriendly
website I have ever seen.

AMEN! The Estes site now is the worst web site I have ever seen. You
can not get quick data on anything about their product. What in the
world were they thinking? Trying to make it more flashy and animated
has made it impossible to navigate. When are they going to learn that
making something flashy and mindless and already to fly will not sell
more? I tried to get info on the OT but gave up after 15 mins of
frozen screens, endless loops, endless menus, slow loading, etc. I
have never seen a company try to hide its product as much as Estes on
this site. (BTW, I would imagine that ROCKETS would be their main stay
and most well known product, so why is it 3th on the list?)

They could take a lesson from PML. They have a great site and I can
find anything I am looking for in seconds.

What browser?

Netscape4.7 still does not work, but IE5 works great.

I've seen much worse websites, but I don't bookmark them and don't go back.

I really don't see what's so difficult about clicking on a pull down menu for the item or
document you want.

well, if netscape 4.7 doesn't work, then i wouldn't consider it *fixed*,
first of all.  consumer web sites should not be browser specific, there
are just too many browsers out there...  again, imho

What he said.

Also, a website that depends on "Shockwave Flash" is limited only to those
combinations of browser and OS for which the plug-in is available. Using "Flash"
for graphic enhancements is one thing; depending on it as the sole method of
presenting content and navigation is simply Bad Web Design.

Slow, annoying useless matte downloads, can't get it to let me click on any
of the product information. Totally useless. They'd be better off with no
web site at all.

There must have been a Chicago style kickback to someone for the web
contract for this POS!

As funny as all of these follow on posts are, I can still use IE to
load/navigate/view/download effortlessly and instantly. Oh well, that's why I have more
than one browser. If a website is not done well and I need to use a different browser I do
so. It would be nice if I didn't have to, but I have other things to worry about.

Bottom line: it works using IE. Period.

PS: When I have a problem with a product or website - I tell the owner.

If you want to *** about how much you hate their website (or their products) I suggest
that you include in your posting the information that you called them and shared that
information with them. Then MAYBE they can fix the problem that SOOOO bothers certain
people.

Example: I clearly informed them of the clay problems and they fixed it.

You snipped the post and eliminated the meaning - as usual.

I said
"PS: When I have a problem with a product or website - I tell the owner.

If you want to *** about how much you hate their website (or their products) I suggest
that you include in your posting the information that you called them and shared that

If you read that, you see that I never say to 'not post'. I simply request that ***ing
be accompanied by the information that says that the ***er has notified the person or
entity that they are ***ing about what the problem is.

Otherwise they are ***ing into the wind.
