Are there any other means besides the common launch lugs to attach the
model to the launcher. Seems like they distract from the apperance.

1. Build a tower to fit your rocket. More complex, make it adjustable.
2. Use a rail. Dave Popkin (Starflight Industries) sells a system. 2
small spool shaped lugs fit the rail. Also, Jim Bollero uses surplus
sailboat mast as a rail. #10 round head screws fit the groove perfectly.
