LongShot Two Stage Web Site I can't find

Post by Compm » Fri, 12 Feb 1999 04:00:00

About 8 months ago I went to a web site from this news group that was
all about building the LongShot two stage rocket so that is was more
reliable.  Now I want to find that web site.  Does anybody know the
URL for the Web site that delt with the LongShot Two Stage Rocket?

Thanks,

Eldon C. Oldnettle

I think it was an AOL member type thing.

There's some information about the (very minor) modifications I made to
my Long Shot when I built it -- conversion to 24 mm upper stage motor
mount, and addition of interstage venting to increase staging
reliability -- on the page for that model in my web pages.  The base URL
is listed below; check the "fleet" section for a link to the Long Shot.

I drilled two quarter inch holes on opposite sides of the booster to vent the
pressure build up and mine has worked everytime now.

This is basically what I was looking for.  There was a site that had
pictures also.  I did keep the info this time.  I want to build a Long
Shot with some reliability modifications and put one extra tube on it.
I would like for the last tube and nose to break loose for the
parachute to deploy.  Let me know what you think..
