E-15 Problem fixed (from Estes)

FROM ESTES:

We believe that "E" quality problems have been fixed in production runs after
12/15/93 (Batch code 12X15). The runs prior to that had a propellant density
problem.  This existed mainly in batches prior to December 15th.  We apologize
for these problems and as always will make good on any damages related to
them.

In our opinion, the problem is not related to weather conditions nor shipping
difficulties.  We also are not responsible for the recent earthquake in
California even though some might want to believe that <g>.

Is "suspicious stock" going to be removed from distributers and retailers?

Are there any batches which are more suspect than others?  Are all E15's
made prior to 12/15/93 equally likely to fail or are there some production
dates to particularily watch out for?

I'm definitely NOT speaking for Estes, just for myself, but I'd stay away
from batches made in October 10Xnn).  I've seen 5 E15s cato with 2 different
10Xnn numbers.

I really do hope they found the problem and fixed it.  I have a couple of
current cluster models and some planned ones that just scream out for E15P's.
