Accessed the FTP site and dopwwwnloaded quite a few files (Plans0
when unzipped there are files that end in PS (postscript I presume) or
photoshop maybe?  What program do I need to view these files?  I must
be doing something wron or what?

Thanks

Use Ghostscript to view them, but the files are really not made for viewing.
They are made for printing.  The TIF files are for viewing.

They can be printed by any postscript-compatible printer,

There are several ways to do this. If you have a Mac and access to Adobe
Illustrator 6.0, you can parse the file and print to any printer (PostScript
or non-PostScript). Otherwise, it can be easiest to place the files into a
page layout program or word processing program, or use a downloading utility
to download them directly to a PostScript printer.

Like Wolf said, it is difficult to view a PS file directly except with the AI
method above).
