AMRAMM AIM-120A scale info

Post by James L. Bal » Sun, 19 Jul 1998 04:00:00

I have posted a set of detail photos of an AMRAMM AIM-120 missile to the
scale library at http://www.fament.com/jimball/scale-data/scale.htm

The photos are of an AMRAMM on display at Elgin AFB.  They show some
good details of the forward and rear fin lettering and also the area
around the nose.
....Just the kind of detail needed to get the edge in a scale contest or
add that touch of realism to your Launch Pad kit.

Thanks to Chris Timm for providing me with the photo set.

WOW!  Great sight.  Very good (huge, clear) photos!!!  Good shot of
the Pheonix, too.

The drawings based on chris Timm's measurements of the display missile are at:

Together with the photos, it's a pretty complete set of data
