NIRA launch

To annyone who attended NIRA's launch today:

How did it go?  I wanted to go but my mom can't breath well in warm, humid
weather (FYI it is 90 + and rained today) and my dad had to work.  A large
section of clouds came through this afternnon with tons of lightning and some
rain (3-4 lightning bolts a minute over here, maybe more) that only lasted
10-15 minutes.  Did this hit there?

NIRA launch

The launch was very good even with rather more wind then any of us wanted.
About 30 people came to fly and we flew about 180 models. Most people flew
smaller, low powered models, the "UFO" style models Bob Kaplow, Rick Kramer
and I like to fly were very popular! Even with the wind several people flew
"F" powered and clustered "D" powered models and managed to get them back.
All in all it was a pretty good launch!
