I believe she was one of the odd color skinned alians that Captain Kirk
did the wild thing with... :-O

Well, it's also the Northern Illinois Rocketry Association.

The Northern Illinois Rocketry Association.

We meet the first Friday of every month at 7:30pm the Glen Ellen civic
center and have for as far back as anyone can remember.  Certainly
well before my time.

Organized launches are every third Sunday, now at the Greene Valley
prairie preserve between 63rd and 75th streets about a mile west of
355.  You just missed a launch last Sunday but we'll be back.

We also run MRFF (Midwest Regional Fun Fly) and a club only
occaisional high power launch near the Wisconsin border in Harvard.

Sorry, Darrell.  That comment's out of line here.

We have many cases here where on-line and on-launch-field personas are
radically different.  The folks in NIRA actually like flying and
socializing with both Bob's.  Bob W's edited our award winning
newsletter for the past 5 years or so,and builds some damn fine scale
models.  Bob K's helped us over the 20+ years build, maintain and
store most of our range equipement as well as work out both our waiver
process and range operations.

Both Bob's and you would be welcome guests in my home because we all
share a common interest in what is a neat hobby.  While I can
understand that other conversations in this newsgroup have left you
with negative opinions of both folks, let's leave the who flies with
who at a local club up to the local members, OK?

This kind of caustic remark doesn't help either this newsgroup or the
hobby of sport rocketry, IMHO

Since it hasn't been pointed out yet, the answer to your question can
be found at http://www.nira.chicago.il.us in great detail....
