Hello all,

I just ordered a Bruiser EXP and was looking for anyone who has this
kit to give me any hints on it's contruction. Also looking for motor
selection hints.  Thanks in advance.

I always felt these rockets could use some bigger fins.  They just look
smallish for such a big rocket.  Is it just me?

Build it strong enough to hold K motors. Reduce the length of the recovery
compartment. I have seen far too many nose cones not come off due to the
large volume and the lack of ejection charge powder. Use "U" bolts instead
of the eye bolts for recovery attachment. Do not use the eyelet in the nose
cone for recovery attachment. I haven't seen one yet that did not break on
the LOC kits. I drill two holes in the base of the nose cone and then feed
a strap through the two holes to form a loop to attach too.

Good luck

Standard LOC precision design philosophy.
BTW anyone enjoy the BRUISER FRENZY in HPR mag as much as me?

LOC rocs are kind of like nails; you can really drive them home!  Those
little fins though; I've seen LOTS of Tristars go WAY unstable, and
Topguns too.  Too much motor in the ***end for stubby and his friends!

Bring back "sport" rockets.  No more "ya seen one ya seen em all" military
and weapon models.  In that way LOCs alright!
