This reminds me of a question I have on using stamps on my scrapbook pages.

How do you overlap them - like on the ghost card?

By a technique called masking.  Stamp the image on your cardstock.  Then stamp
the image on a post-it note, cut out the image.  Place post-it on the first
stamped image and then stamp the second image where you like (i.e. overlapping
the first image).  

It's a very easy, fun technique that adds a lot of depth to your stamped
images.
