OT:Prayers needed!

Hi Everyone,
I have had such a full plate, I do not even know where to begin.
Yesterday we had my Dad brought to the hospital. Both of my parents have
Parkinson's and live downstairs from me. My DH and DS (19 mo.) live
upstairs. My Dad had gotten sick last week which what seemed like a cold. By
Sat. he was having great difficulty walking independently. He could even get
up by himself ( I have been picking him up all weekend, off the floor,
toilet transfers, off the bed,out of the chair). I guess my degree as a
Physical Therapist Assistant has paid off.
So, to make the long story short we had the Fire department come and pick
him up yesterday in the middle of a slushy, snowy, sleet mess. My Mom and I
were there for 4 hours and no definitive diagnosis. Thank God my DFIL came
to watch my 19 mo. My Poor MIL has been sick for over a week now or she
would have come to watch the little one.
They are now treating my Dad for a mild case of Pneumonia but who knows it
could even be the flu......
Meanwhile, my 19 mo. son came down with 103 degree fever today. I have
been giving him Motrin and Tylenol every 3 hours. Now he is finally
sleeping.....................................
Please say a prayer for all this illness to end. I am so
exhausted.....................................
To top it off I am not even near finished with the Holiday shopping...

God Bless everyone,
Dorothy in NY

Dorothy,

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy
will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the
kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever.
Father please protect Dorothy and her loved ones.Amen
Hugs

Oh, Dorothy, I hope things get better really soon!  Sickness is not
only scary, it's tiresome.  I hope the rest of you stay healthy, and
that the sick ones improve soon!

Forget the shopping and keep the baby inside and stocked up on Motrin!  I
went through it with my 20 month old last month and the same temp and he was
real sick for a week.  He lost a lot of weight but I didn't realize it was
the flu and I was too relaxed about it.  Now I am not exposing my family to
anything!  I use Purell when I leave the store before I even get in the car
now!  I am sorry about you father too - gosh all at once.   At least by him
being in the hospital he can be taken care of and you can concentrate on
your little one.  Rest as much as you can and do a lot of hand washing so
you don't get it too!  I will keep you in my prayers!
