OT: Bad News...

We found out yesterday that my sister cannot donate a kidney to me.
She has some weird scarring in her kidney that prevents donation, and
she may even need surgery at some point (10-15 years) to repair it.
Really a bad bit of news... I had my heart set on it, and so did
she... my mom is going to proceed with her testing, so please keep us
in your prayers anyway... hopefully we'll still be on schedule for
this summer, so I'm not giving up hope yet!
Thanks to all for your prayers before!

Lizz, I'm so sorry.  I know you and your sister were looking forward to that
special gift.  But God has a plan, even though we may not understand that
plan all the time.  You and your family will continue to stay in my prayers.

Sorry to hear of this Lizz.  If you can not find a donor within the family I
really encourage you to list at two OPO's it broadens your chances of
finding a donor faster.
