So we go to the library last night and I pick this book up to read. I
started it about 11pm last night and read till about 1am.. Oh my :)

Danielle Steel's books are mainly about love and other things and I'm sure
there is some kind of love in this book but the first 5 chapters I've read
so far is about child abuse. The book is about this child's life. As I was
reading the first 5 chapters my heart dropped and my mouth was wide open and
my eyes bulged out. I just couldn't believe how anyone could beat their
child like this. I don't want to say too much about it in case any of you
want to read this book.

I wanted to keep reading but knew I better get some sleep :) I just had to
share what I was feeling when I started this book. All I wanted to do was
save this little girl. I love books that can capture you like that and you
get to know the characters like they are here in person. I just felt so
sorry for this girl. I of course also wanted to hold my little girl and
never spank her again :) Abby woke up about 2am and I practically ran to her
room and scooped her up into my arms.

If you want a book that you can't put down this would be one of them :) I
just had to share with everyone. Thanks for reading.

I love to read. I like Harliquin and those kinds.  My DH calls them ***t
books. I tell him I have to get romance somewhere.  I understand what you
mean you feel like you know the characters. Sometimes when I'm at work
talking with someone and the tell you stories (gossiping) I sometimes start
talking. But then I realize, silly mean, that was in a story I read. Then I
just kinda laugh to myself. Reading is so relaxing.

Oh I love to read also.. My favorite author's are Lurlene McDaniel and
Nicholas sparks. I also love to read Dee Henderson and other Christian
romance novels :) I like to read VC Andrews and Danielle Steel and many
others LOL :) LOL :) Oh my girl :) Oh its very relaxing :) I mean after I
turned off the lights last night and tried to go to sleep for some reason
the book really hit me and I cried a little bit. It doesn't take much for me
to cry :) Sometimes my DH teases me about it but he knows that its just me
:)

Have you ever read Tara Taylor Quinn? She's writes for Harliquin.

I don't know.  I don't usually look at who the aurthor is.  I know that's
bad.  I just grap them and read.  I have about 3 bags at home in my closet
right now.  Our town library was having a 1.00 bag sale.  I went nuts.

KEEP reading. It's a good 'un. I actually need my first daughter after
Danielle Steel. The first book of hers that I read was THE PROMISE, in the
5th grade, and I've been reading her ever since. If you like romance that
deals with more mature characters finding love late in life read works by
Robert James Waller. For some creepy sci-fi or just odd reads I read Dean
Koontz. And books that leave a lot of questions and really make you wonder,
I like Dan Brown. So there ya have it, all my favorites.

Any way, keep reading. It's a good story.

Thanks.. I'm so glad that other people have read it and think that it is
good :) Oh awesome!! Can't remember if I've read that or not. I have a lot
of her books just haven't read them all :) Don't think I'll ever be caught
up on them LOL Never heard of him or Dan Brown before. DH really likes Dean
Koontz. I've read some of his books.. Very good. DH got me into them before
I even moved here.

Ok time for bed Abby, mommy needs to read. LOL :) Almost bedtime for her..
But I think I'm going to watch the last Friends. Haven't watched it in years
but figured why not watch the ending.

D.Brown has I think only 4 books out, but all have been top sellers. I think
the most common one being Angels &Demons, awesome story, could not put down.
He also wrote Deception Point, Digital Fortress, and The Davinci Code. Read
Angels & Demons before The Davinci Code. All of these were really good, the
last two mentioned really great. I gobbled up his words so fast. I'm ready
for hime to come out with another one. Danielle to for that matter.
Patience..........
