I loaded some of the LO's I completed while at the Weekend Crop at
Gatlinburg.
I created a new album called Gatlinburg Crop LO's (real original huh!)
I was limited by space on the trip as DD and I rode with two others in a
vehicle. When I was working on some of the LO's I felt I was improvising as
I did not have everything I wanted at my fingertips like I would have had at
home.
I also worked on several Halloween LO's while I was there. I think I finally
have that holiday caught up....I could probably put together just a
Halloween album as my oldest is 30 and the youngest 9.

Such talent there, Sandy.  Would you share?  :-)  I really like the 'play'
LO the best.  Your trip was definately worthwhile and productive!

Sandy those Haloween LO's sure look like fun.  And the accident page
makes one pause to be thankful. I never would have thought to s***
something like that and yet it is part of the story of your DD's life.

Very nice layouts, Sandy.  I especially liked the Halloween layout and
the little minibook on one of the pages to add more photos.

Thank you for sharing.

Thanks, Deb. That was one of my favorites too. I saw someone else on the
group use that paper and realized I had some too. I liked the way their LO
looked using it and had to try one too.

I had to wait a while before I could s***the photos. Everytime I looked at
them I thanked God that he let her walk away from the accident and no one
was hurt.
Something like that is a huge part of our lives and makes a real impact in
the way we think and act after it happend.
I have yet to s***the tornado photos from 1990 - one of these days.....

Thanks, Klara,
I had fun just making them. I like mini books on LO's just to be able to add
more photos to the page. I think it's the preservation issue with me.
Sometimes it's like I have to include every photo I have of a particular
event.....

Thanks,
That's what I thought when I saw someone else use the same paper. I
remembered the photos I had from that day when all the older children I had
in daycare were back for a visit. It was a day I treasure.....all of the
children in those photos I'd had in my daycare since they were between a
few weeks-18 mos of age. they stayed until they either moved out of town or
started school full time. It was so ironic that two of the boys had stopped
by for a visit (they live 3 hours away) and one came after school as his mom
had a doctor's appt, one's dad was out of town and mom worked late, and
three of the others came as their older high school brother who watches them
after school had a sports event to attend.

Luv all your LO's Sandy! That little booklet with the extra pictures is
a great way to still keep all the pictures for the event, together. The
halloween ones look like fun too!
Thanks for sharing those with us!

As usual you managed to produce a lot of great layouts in one scrapping
marathon.  What always amazed me about your scrapping is that you manage to
make each layout stand out from the others that came before it.  Considering
how much scrapping you so, that is truly a gift!

Sandy, I just firstly have to say I LOVE Aubrey Mae's dimples!  Too adorable
for words!  :)))

You certainly had a very productive weekend!  Your LO's does not appear to
be improvised at all, but looks wonderful as usual.  Loved the Balloon
heading on Jesse's Birthday LO and the dimensional paint.  Did you write
"free hand" or with a stencil?  It looks wonderful anyhow.

Sarah's accident looks pretty bad, hope she made it okay out of that.

Thanks, We did have a great time. We took Dd up into the Smoky Mountains on
the last day before we headed for home to see some of the sites of the area.
She wants to go again next year. I told her we'd have to look into a retreat
in a different direction. Sort of like 'see the USA' and s***as well.

Thanks, M-C,
I think making kits really has something to do with it. When I sit down and
just s***with a pkg of photos my LO's tend to be similar and use the same
techniques.
When I put kits together I tend to only make one or two at a time and I have
a specific technique in mind from a magazine or book or class I took. Adding
a sketch and notes to the kit insures I am doing what I originally intended
with the kit.
Most of the time I use my kits at a crop and every time I finish a kit I
clear up my space, get up and socialize, or get a snack and stretch, etc.
Then when I sit back down I am ready for a 'totally new adventure'.
Sandy
