Does Life-Like make their F3 undecorated? If not what is the best
method of removing paint from a decorated unit without destroying the
plastic?

Nope, and they don't sell B units any more as singles, either.

destroying the plastic?

96-percent or better isopropanol (isopropyl ***).

Actually 70% works also, just takes longer.  I've used both 91 and 70
successfully on various proto 1000 and 2000 engines.  70 usually takes
soaking overnight while 91% is no more than a couple of hours.  Scrub with
an old toothbrush(or your ex-wife's new toothbrush) and you should have a
clean model.
