DCC-ready Steam

HI Folks,

After my relatively nightmarish experience with my IHC Camelback,  since I
am at the beginning of all of this, I think it might be helpful to make a
list of steam locos that either

1) already have a DCC plug attached.

Or

2) already have the motor isolated so you only have to deal with finding the
wires, and so one can make a fairly easy installation of a decoder.

I've already scoped the Bachmann 0-6-0 teakettle and the Russian Decapod.

What are the others?

Chuck

P.S.  One more thing-- I bought a Bachmann Doodlebug, and can't figure out
how to get the dadgummed shell off without breaking the whole thing.  Any
tips?

The newer Bowser kits have the motor isolated. You can purchase a $1.00 item
from Bower to isolate the brushed on the DC-70 motor.

The Mantua engines of the last few years came with a can motor that was
isolated. Not sure when they started with the can motors.

The Genesis 4-6-2 and 2-8-2

The P2K 2-8-8-2.

All these have a plug already in place.
