I have a 16 oz./sq. feet Clark Y and it is *almost* a floater. I dare say
you could go higher to about 20 oz. and still have good slow flight. Do let
us know.

With a 6 inch span and a .75 inch chord don't go over 6/8 Oz. per
square foot.  With a 36 foot span and a 4 foot chord, 12/15 lbs per
square foot will fly well.

P.S.  I might be able to give a more detailed answer if you would give
a few more details.
