Fly Baby

I have purchased a Dynaflite Fly Baby kit and would appreciate any bits of
wisdom anyone might have before I start building.  I would like to increase the
size of the ailerons since I am more concerned with low speed handling than
keeping to scale.  Also, what recommendations for a 4 stroke engine?

Your responses will be greatly appreciated (unless you tell me to take it
back).

I don't know Jack about this particular kit, but I have flown the
prototype FlyBaby SN001, N500F.  The key to low speed roll control is
rudder!

I have an Aerodrome FlyBaby that will get a Surpass .48, and a .15
size of unknown origin (3ch).

Thanks for the advice about low speed control.  You wouldn't happen to have any
photos of N500F would you?  I would gladly reimburse you if you could furnish
me a print.

How did it fly?

For at least the last 13-14 years N500F has had a Continental 85, so
it climbs very well.  Cruise was 100-105mph.  Glides like a rock <g>.
I only once took it 50nm from home, mostly goofed around the
Auburn/Enumclaw Washington area.  It was operated by a local club
until Pete Bowers sold it about 3 years ago.  It now lives in the
midwest.

I have one picture, but it is not very descriptive.  I should be able
to refer you to more.
