Stinson Relaint 6' span circa 1947?

Post by Angelo Campanel » Wed, 18 Nov 1998 04:00:00

I started a Stinson Reliant 6' span model in 1947.
I think "Cleveland" was manufacturer.
Finished fuselage and tail. Did not get to wings.
Kept finished parts all these years, now may want to complete it.
Lost the balsa setup, etc.
Anyone have plans or parts?

Angelo Campanella.

Angelo --

Cleveland Model still sells plans; they advertise in Model Aviation, I

No, they advertise in Model Airplane News. Angelo, how well do you think
the fifty year old wood and glue  is going to hold up? I hope you're going
to build the whole thing new.

Mike

I don't know about 50 year old glue joints, but I have three models that are
over 30 years old and they are still fine.
