Anyone had success running a smoke system on a tuned pipe setup? How far
from the exhaust port should I put the injector tap? I'd hate to ram that
smoke fluid back into the engine, yet want to get sufficient heat to burn
it. My first attempt using the normal pipe pressure fitting just resulted
in big puddles of smoke fluid on the ground, emptying 16oz in about 3 min.
- obviously way too much flow and not enough cooking time/temp. I note on
my Dubro smoke valve instructions they make a special note that their
system won't work on tuned pipes.....'course they say that about 4-cycles
too, and most of what I'm using is leftover from my YS120 smoke system.
Any hints before I start drilling holes in my header for new pressure taps?
