Found Collection

I have a HITEC focus radio, it came with my Tiger Trainer ARF. I have just
bought used Airtronics Vangard radio. Both radio's have plug for a buddy
cord but the sockets are different. Is it possible to use one of these
radios as a BUDDY BOX for the other one? Do I need to build a special cord?
Can I buy one? Or are they totally incompatible?

Yes I have a Fcus 6 and I was Told by the Salesman that both radios have to
be the same. but not in all casses, But in my on yes ( Lucky I had 2 Focus 6
Tx's ) so I bought a Budy cord $25.00 Australian.
One end is for the Master and the Other for the Slave ( Nice way of puting
it :-).

The Slave radio duse not need Batteries or a Cristal for the cord to work..

Make sure that both radios are set up ( Trims and Throus ) the same... Or
you will have lots of fun with the Slave.  eg.
Master : Has the Radio for the Plane and all is ok " Pull up .. Do a loop "
.. " Right you turn "
Slave : " Ok " The model gose Down " What Hapend ?"
Master : Lands the Plane and Finds that the elivator servo seting on the
Slave is reversed

The Hitec Focus and Airtronics Vanguard are incompatible.  You can use a
Hitec and a Futaba, but not Airtronics.
