The American Scene for Woodturning

Hello All,

I've been asked by the new editor of Woodturning magazine to do their "News from
America" column each month. Although I try to stay up on what is going on, a lot
of times I hear about something too late to report on it. My column will be
reaching out about three issues from when it is written, so last minute stuff
just won't work.

If you hear of something newsworthy to the woodturning scene in America, a
coming event, like a regional conference, and example the "Texas Turn or Two"
please let me know with as much information as possible and possibly a source to
verify details. I will not be able to travel around the US to attend various
events, but would be pleased to write up the event if I had particulars about it
and some good quality color slides to select from. The best deal is information
in advance on coming events, shows, exhibitions, tours, etc. in your area. You
can send them to me by e-mail for fastest delivery.

Thank you all for your help.
