Well today is Monday.  I know because 24 was on tonight.  My wife called me
over the intercom to let me know that 24 was on in 30 minutes and I had time
to get to a ending point.   Started in the shop at 0800 and quit at 2000
with a 2 hour nap and 2 hours of honeydo's.  No turning just a lot of glue
ups.  Start turning some 10' posts tomorrow then continue with the glue up
of some fantastic and difficult stair end posts from 8/4 red oak.  Hope to
have one glued up by the end of the week.  Monsters are 48" tall and 13" at
widest with a total of 7 stave sections in glue up.  Should weigh about 150
lbs each.  Got a bunch of extraneous c### to do that will take me away from
the shop this week so I doubt that I will get more than 50 hours shop time.
Next week is vacation so I should get more shop time and get shop cleaned,
start modifications on table saw and get at least one cowboy hat turned from
the pecan I picked up last week.  Also need to make bank deposit.  Talked
with Tiger Woods today.  He plays golf on his vacation and I work in the
shop on mine.  Both of us get paid to do exactly what we want, he just gets
more.  Ain't life a ***!

=========================
Art,
Did your shop or house get any damage from that storm this week? They had a
picture in the Austin paper of the hail in Cedar Hill, and I know those
storms have a history of following I-20 thru that area. When I was in
Arlington and Mansfield I dreaded mid-April to mid-May. Good luck!
