Lalvin yeasts.

Can anybody tell me if the Lalvin range of yeasts are available in the
UK please? Perhaps they are under a different brand name ? Are there any
equivalents from other manufacturers?

I am particularly interested in the high *** tolerant strain (I
think it's called EC1118 or something like that).

As an alternative, are there any suppliers in the US prepared to do
international mail order of this product ?

Kind Regards,

TIA

Andy :)

Hi Andrew,

How about Wine Yeast C Gold Label (S.cerevisiae (bayanus) Strain
EC1118)?  This is made by Gervin Supplies, 61 Church Road,
WOODLEY, Reading, Berkshire, RG5 4PT.  Telephone/Fax
01189-691518.  If you have any problems, email me, and I'll get you
some from my local wine shop.

Otherwise try any wine region in France. It is closer than the US, and it is
the EU, so no tax or custom control.

Kind regards
