Noirot makes an extract called "Yellow Genepy", and Royal Piper makes "Italian
Gold", both of which are approximations of Galliano. These are simply mixed
with neutral spirit, sugar and water.

There is a scratch recipe in Classic Liqueurs by Long & Kibbey (Culinary Arts
Ltd, $8.95). Page 56-57, quite an involved recipe.
