On Tuesday, May 20th, the New York City Homebrewers Guild will be
holding its third annual mead-themed meeting.  Our guest speaker will
be Araya Selassie of Saba Tej Company, makers of Ethiopian-styled
mead.  Selassie will discuss mead-making and the role that this
beverage plays in his home country of Ethiopia.

Those attending this meeting will also have the opportunity to sample
meads from the Redstone Meadery.  Redstone, located in Boulder,
Colorado, won first and second place BOS in the 2002 Mazur's Cup,
commercial mead competition.  This mead is not yet available in New
York; be among the first in the area to sample it.

The meeting will take place at Brewsky's, located at 41 East Seventh
Street, between 2nd and 3rd avenues.  Starting time is 7:30pm.
