I have a question for those mead makers out there. I just
recently tried a pear mead and have come up with a problem. I
have racked twice and there is an interesting taste. I know that
it is not contamination. I have added sugar and it was too
sweet. I have added acid and it doesn't change the taste, just
the acidity. The taste was not there at my first rack.
