I have VINOFERM's test kit with the iodine SO2 titration solution. I
have used it a couple of times but don't trust the results.
So, I thought I might put some potassium metabisulfite into solution
in a known concentration and then run vinoferm's free SO2 test to see
if it matches what I added. Does this make sense?
If so, to what should I add the KMBS? I don't want to use up my wine.
Would a weak acid solution work? Vinegar? Lemon juice? To a certain
pH?
