I will be visiting Lancaster PA.  Any good fields to fly at
or heli/airplane shops to visit while I'm there?

I just heard of a shop in lankaster PA its
HOBBY VILLAGE
(717) 392 1523
Its close to the visitors center from what I understand.  Lancaster is about an
hour and a half drive for me and I have not been to this shop yet !!!   You
should call them for directions and make sure they have what you are interested
in before you go.........If you do go and it is nice (or not nice) let me know
what its like.  I planned on making a motorcycle trip up there when the temp
gets to 70 degrees.  (I am definitly getting old)
There is a second shop near there called
HOBBY HOUSE  (610) 380-1300
They WERE on lancaster pike (near 30 bypass) and they mostly had trains, cars,
boats, planes, and shuttle parts......Since they moved (not far) I think they
carry  TSK and XCELL parts......I have not been to the new shop yet.  Again I
await nice temps (or a crash) to make the trip...Call them before you go and
see if they stock parts for your ship.  they do a lot of mail order so there
inventory on certain ships is sure to be low.
Your also not to far from Hobbies and heli (610) 282-4811  They have a ton of
parts and hop ups if you want to make the trip to Coopersburg PA.  you should
be close to the turn pike and its easy to get to it.  If your semi-near to it,
it is worth the trip.
Thats just about every shop I know save one in the wrong direction.  GS hobbies
in Old Bridge NJ  980 727-7871.  I didn't want to leave my favorite shop
out....hay Indy can I get a discount now.   Enjoy your stay and don't forget to
check out the Omish (spelling not my strong point) folks and food.  If you find
any other shops let me know
Enjoy

Chuck

It all depends on how far you want to travel when there. There is  a heli shop
in Harrisburg , That is about 35 minutes from Lancaster. If you want I can give
you the phone number.
